>> What Can I Expect?
Visiting to a new church for the first time can be a "nerve racking" experience. " I have no idea where to go , what to do, what not do, etc... Who will be there to greet me? Will I stick out like a sore thumb?" The possible concerns and questions are endless and are all valid.
We hope that we can answer some of your questions and give you the answers and confidence you need to venture out and join us.
If you can't find an answer to a question that you may have, please ask us and we will do our best to answer it.

Will I fit in and feel comfortable?
One of the things that we are excited about here is the diversity of our congregation. We have people from all walks of life, with over 20+ nationalities and ethnic backgrounds represented (and growing). We have a growing Spanish ministry as well as the capability to provide services to the deaf and handicapped. Whatever your walk of life, we welcome you and we believe that you will find yourself welcome here.
Who should I talk to? Anyone you would like to! We have several designated greeters that are on the lookout for new guests and will be available to answer any questions you may have. If you have a question, please don't hesitate to ask . Someone in our friendly congregation can assist you or point you in the right direction.
Will I know the words to the songs? Knowing the words to the songs is an important thing...there isn't much worse when going to a church service than to stand or sit there and not know a word while everyone around you is singing. We've got you covered. We have a nice projection system that includes a huge screen hanging from the wall behind the pulpit area that always has the current song and verses. Bible scriptures are also projected as needed, so if you forget your Bible or don't have one, you can still read along.
Will I have to stand up and introduce myself? No, no and no. While in some churches this is a common practice we have found most people prefer to be anonymous observers their first few visits....and that is perfectly fine.
How do I dress? We recommend that you wear something that is comfortable to you. You will find that several of our members often wear dress clothes but that is by no means a requirement. You will find that most of those involved in ministry within the church are often dressed up, but do not feel pressured to dress up. Being an already somewhat nervous experience, the last thing you want to wear is something you are not comfortable in.
Do I have to bring an offering? No. An offering is exactly that....offering something you find of value... to another. That is the attitude with which we give. If you would like to bring something to offer to the Lord, feel free, but by no means are you required or obligated to do so. While the Bible does speak about bringing an offering and tithing, this is directed at the believer who has chosen to serve God. It is a part of our worship and decision to honor God above all, and with all that He has blessed us with.
I have done a lot of bad things, would I be welcome?YES!.Jesus made it a main focus in His ministry to reach to the hurting people of His generation. Rather than choosing to spend time with the "perfect" religious folks, He spent time with the "common" sinners... The reality is that we have all made mistakes...BUT...we have redemption through Jesus Christ's sacrifice and plan for salvation. You will find that this congregation is full of people who's lives have been changed for the positive.....and yours could be the next one.
